When they arrived, they found Mora suffering from critical injuries. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where medical staff worked to save his life over the following days. Despite those efforts, Mora passed away Tuesday, prompting homicide detectives to intensify their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
