Henry alleges that when she asked nurses to contact the surgeon overnight, they told her that Muscoreil “doesn’t like to be bothered.” By the following day, her abdomen had become noticeably swollen, prompting doctors to order a CT scan. When Muscoreil later discussed the scan results by phone, the lawsuit claims he became angry after Henry asked him to personally examine her, reportedly shouting, “Don’t tell me how to do my job.”

During the drive, the detectives quietly signaled backup units through a hidden audio transmitter, warning that surveillance vehicles had been spotted and should back off.

The situation escalated when the suspects demanded to search the detectives. An argument followed, and one suspect pulled out a .44-caliber handgun. He shot Detective Andrews, who was sitting in the passenger seat, in the head. Moments later, Detective Nemorin, who was driving, was also shot in the head. Both died at the scene.

Within 72 hours, authorities captured all five suspects involved in the robbery and murder plot. The gunman was repeatedly sentenced to death in federal court, though legal challenges later overturned those sentences.

Detective Nemorin left behind his wife and three young children, while Detective Andrews was survived by two sons and was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor in 2004 for his sacrifice.

Investigators say 18-year-old Jayden Ryan Wallace was driving one of the vehicles when Hughes slipped on the wet pavement and fell into the roadway. As Wallace drove away, Hughes was struck by the truck.

Authorities say Wallace and the others immediately stopped and attempted to help Hughes, staying with him until emergency responders arrived. Hughes was transported to a hospital but later died from his injuries.

Wallace now faces first-degree vehicular homicide, reckless driving, criminal trespass, and littering charges, while four other teens involved in the prank have been charged with criminal trespass and littering.

Aryan Brotherhood of Texas Member Sentenced,  Dakota Carroll Gets 30 Years After Bribery and Drug Crimes.

DALLAS, Texas — Dakota Carroll, a 30-year-old documented member of the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas (ABT), was sentenced in late October 2023 to 30 years in prison following a series of violent and criminal acts, including a failed attempt to bribe police officers with drugs and firearms.

The events began in July 2020 during a traffic stop in Richardson, Texas. Officers discovered 58 grams of methamphetamine and a small amount of heroin in Carroll’s vehicle. During the stop, Carroll attempted to bribe law enforcement by offering to “order up” a pound of methamphetamine and a bunch of guns in exchange for his release. The officers refused, and the criminal case proceeded.

Carroll pleaded guilty to possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance just days before his trial was scheduled to begin, acknowledging his involvement in the serious drug offenses. His criminal behavior did not end there. While out on bond for the Collin County charges, Carroll allegedly committed additional offenses in Dallas County, including robbery, a non-fatal shooting (deadly conduct), unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and abandoning and endangering a child.

Carroll also had a prior record, having been imprisoned in 2015 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, highlighting a pattern of violent behavior.

Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis described Carroll as a “known violent gangster” and emphasized that the 30-year sentence was necessary to protect the public from further harm. Carroll’s case illustrates the extreme measures law enforcement faces when dealing with organized criminal groups and the lengths some gang members will go to try to evade justice.
