Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Hart County Claims Life of Ryan McKenzie Craft.

HART COUNTY, GA — A tragic traffic accident in Hart County has left one man dead after a three-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Reed Creek Highway. Deputies with the Hart County Sheriff’s Office, alongside Hart County EMS and Fire, responded to the scene at the intersection of Boat Road at approximately 1:22 p.m. on March 22, 2026.

Preliminary reports indicate that a motorcycle traveling toward Hartwell struck two vehicles before coming to rest on the left shoulder of the roadway. The driver of the motorcycle, Ryan McKenzie Craft, 31, of Hartwell, Georgia, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Emergency personnel and law enforcement worked quickly to secure the area and provide support while investigating the circumstances of the crash.

The Georgia State Patrol is assisting with the ongoing investigation, and the Hart County Coroner’s Office responded to examine the scene and process the incident. Authorities are continuing to collect evidence, interview witnesses, and reconstruct the crash to determine the contributing factors and ensure road safety.
