LAS VEGAS, Nev. — The Clark County Coroner has identified the man killed in a violent weekend incident involving a carjacking and crash near Charleston Boulevard and South Decatur Boulevard as 37-year-old Benito Saragosa, whose death has left authorities investigating a fast-moving chain of events across the central Las Vegas Valley.
According to investigators, the incident began when a suspect allegedly stole a running vehicle from a Walmart parking lot, triggering a dangerous sequence that ended in tragedy. Authorities say the stolen vehicle was driven recklessly through city streets before ultimately crashing into a utility pole in the area of Charleston and South Decatur.
