Teen Arrest Sparks Outrage, Fatal Beating of Father After Family Outing Shocks Community.
A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection with the tragic death of Rajkumar Pope, a father who was brutally beaten shortly after spending time with his daughter. The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, raising concerns about youth violence and public safety.
According to reports, Pope had just picked up his daughter from Gulf City Mall, where they had been celebrating the completion of the SEA Examination, a milestone moment for many students. At approximately 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, the pair stopped at a nearby shop to buy bread when the situation turned violent. It was there that Pope was allegedly attacked by the teenager, who severely beat him in an unprovoked assault.
Despite his injuries, Pope managed to make his way home, where emergency services were quickly contacted. While receiving initial treatment, his condition rapidly worsened as he began bleeding from the mouth and nose, indicating serious internal injuries. He was rushed to the hospital for urgent medical care but sadly succumbed to his injuries around 9:00 p.m.
Authorities have since detained the suspect, who is reportedly the brother of Mariah Seenath, a previous murder victim. Investigators are working to determine the motive behind the attack and whether there are any connections between the families involved.
