Brielle’s life was tragically cut short in a crash involving a side-by-side vehicle driven by Hannah Lebel, leaving loved ones struggling to comprehend a loss that feels impossible to accept.
The tragic incident occurred on the evening of June 18 in the Jim Creek Recreation Area. Authorities say the vehicle rolled onto its roof while carrying four juveniles. Brielle was found unresponsive, and despite the immediate efforts of bystanders and emergency responders who fought tirelessly to save her, she was pronounced deceased at the scene. Three other juveniles were injured and transported to a local hospital.
As details emerged from the investigation, Alaska State Troopers reported that the driver, Hannah Lebel, was allegedly intoxicated at the time of the crash and was later arrested on multiple charges.
