MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas — A tragic and heartbreaking accident has claimed the life of Salomon Verde Galindo, 32, of Magnolia, following a fatal single-vehicle motorcycle crash that occurred Friday afternoon on Wintergreen Drive, leaving family, friends, and the local community in mourning.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the crash happened at approximately 3:20 p.m. on Wintergreen Drive, just south of Fernrose Court in the Magnolia area. Preliminary findings indicate that Galindo was operating a 2024 Kawasaki motorcycle and traveling southbound when he approached a curve in the roadway. Investigators say he was unable to safely navigate the curve, causing the motorcycle to veer off the road.

As the bike left the roadway, Galindo was thrown from the motorcycle and tragically struck a tree. The impact resulted in severe, life-ending injuries. Emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene, but despite their efforts, Galindo was pronounced dead on-site.

Authorities have confirmed that this was a single-vehicle crash, and no other individuals were involved. The Texas DPS continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident, including factors such as speed, road conditions, and visibility at the time of the crash.

The sudden and devastating loss of Salomon Verde Galindo has deeply affected the Magnolia community, where he was known and loved. Friends and loved ones are now left to grieve a life taken far too soon, holding onto memories while struggling to process the tragedy.

As the investigation continues, officials are reminding motorists—especially motorcyclists—of the importance of caution when navigating curves and maintaining control on the roadway to prevent such heartbreaking incidents.
