Officers with the Greenville Police Department responded at approximately 6:03 p.m. to reports of a physical altercation near 80 Thruston Street. Upon arrival, law enforcement found the victim, later identified as Anthony Devon Bowens, suffering serious injuries.
Emergency Medical Services immediately transported Bowens to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital, where medical staff worked to stabilize him.
