Tragedy on US Route 33: Remembering Alexandra N. Hover After Fatal Auglaize County Motorcycle Crash.

A heartbreaking tragedy unfolded on the evening of June 12, 2026, in Auglaize County, Ohio, when a devastating collision at the intersection of US Route 33 and State Route 65 claimed the life of Alexandra N. Hover, 26, of Lima. The young woman was riding as a passenger on a motorcycle when the crash occurred, leaving family, friends, and the community mourning a life taken far too soon.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Alexandra was traveling eastbound on a 2008 Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycle operated by Khaled A. Haque, 22, of Lima. Investigators say a northbound 2014 Volkswagen Tiguan, driven by Raymond Jacquet, 69, of Orlando, Florida, entered the intersection after failing to yield the right of way from a stop sign. The motorcycle struck the vehicle, resulting in catastrophic consequences.

Despite wearing a motorcycle helmet, Alexandra sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Emergency responders, law enforcement agencies, and medical personnel worked diligently at the crash site, but her injuries proved unsurvivable. Her sudden passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

As loved ones grieve, many are remembering Alexandra for the life she lived rather than the tragedy that ended it. She was someone’s daughter, friend, companion, and cherished member of her community. Her smile, kindness, and presence touched lives in ways that will never be forgotten.

The crash also left Khaled Haque seriously injured and hospitalized, while the driver of the Tiguan sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities have stated that alcohol and drugs are not believed to have played a role in the collision.

Today, the community pauses to honor Alexandra N. Hover. Though her journey ended far too soon, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her. May she rest in eternal peace, forever remembered and never forgotten.
