A devastating act of gun violence has left a Chicago neighborhood grieving after a deadly triple shooting in the city’s Englewood community claimed the lives of two men. Authorities identified the deceased victims as 31-year-old Tywon Monice and 30-year-old Bobb Marlyy. and left a young woman fighting for her life. The shooting occurred around 12:49 a.m. near 65th Street and Hermitage Avenue, turning a quiet overnight gathering into a scene of heartbreak and chaos.
According to police, three individuals were standing outside a residence when a white SUV approached the area. Investigators say an unidentified suspect inside the vehicle opened fire repeatedly before speeding away from the scene. The sudden burst of gunfire sent victims and witnesses scrambling for safety as emergency crews rushed to respond.
Authorities identified the deceased victims as 31-year-old Tywon Monice and 30-year-old Bobb Marlyy. Monice suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, while Marlyy was struck in the head during the attack.
