Triple Homicide Investigation Deepens, Jenna Strouble Transferred to Illinois Jail After Waiving Extradition.
A disturbing triple homicide case continues to unfold as Jenna Strouble, a 30-year-old woman from St. John, Indiana, has been transferred to Illinois following serious charges connected to the deaths of three individuals in Crete Township. Authorities confirmed that Strouble waived extradition on March 26 after her initial court appearance in Lake County, Indiana, and was moved the following day to the Will County Adult Detention Center in Joliet, where she is currently being held without bond.
Strouble is scheduled to appear in Will County court on Monday, March 30, as the investigation progresses. The case stems from a tragic discovery made in the early hours of March 23, when deputies responded to a welfare check at a residence in the 3400 block of East Norway Trail. The call had been placed by a concerned family member, prompting authorities to investigate.
Upon arrival, deputies found three victims: 32-year-old Jacob Lambert, discovered in a vehicle parked in the driveway, and his parents, 54-year-old Stacy Forde and 55-year-old Patrick Forde, both found deceased inside the home near the front door. The scene painted a chilling picture that has left the local community shaken.
According to the Will County Sheriff’s Office, Strouble had an on-and-off relationship with Lambert and shared children with him. Following the incident, investigators allege that she fled the scene and returned to her residence in Indiana, where she was later apprehended on March 24 by St. John Police.
As the legal process unfolds, many questions remain unanswered. The case has left families grieving and a community searching for clarity in the face of a deeply tragic event.
