A Light Gone Too Soon, Remembering Cambry, a Daughter Whose Love Touched Everyone Around Her.
It is with a broken heart that we share the sudden and tragic loss of my daughter, our incredible Cambry. This is a pain no parent is ever prepared to face, and our family is still trying to process the shock and devastation of losing her so unexpectedly. The silence she has left behind is overwhelming, and the weight of this grief is something we are learning to carry moment by moment.
Cambry was truly one of a kind—full of life, love, and a personality that could brighten even the darkest day. She had a natural gift for making people feel special and seen. Whether it was complimenting someone just to lift their spirits or going out of her way to celebrate others, Cambry gave love freely and without hesitation. She was thoughtful in ways that went beyond words—baking cookies for coworkers on their birthdays, carefully choosing the perfect gifts, and always showing up for the people she cared about.
Her siblings adored her, and the bond they shared was filled with laughter, warmth, and unforgettable memories. Tragically, my 17-year-old twins were present during this heartbreaking moment, and they are now trying to process something no child should ever have to endure. My focus now is to be there for them completely as we begin to navigate this unimaginable loss together.
I was not prepared, emotionally or financially, to bury my child. Between funeral expenses and taking time off work to support my children, the burden is heavy.
