A quiet Monday evening was shattered by an unthinkable act of violence that has left a family fractured and a neighborhood in shock. Authorities have confirmed that a domestic dispute escalated into a deadly murder-suicide, leaving two people dead and two others fighting for their lives in the hospital.

According to police reports, 64-year-old Floyd Allred opened fire inside the family residence, fatally shooting 61-year-old Kaylene Allred before turning the weapon on himself. The violence, however, did not stop there. Kaylene’s two adult children, identified by grieving family members as Brittany and Christian, were also targeted in the attack. Both siblings sustained multiple gunshot wounds and were rushed to a nearby trauma center in serious condition.

While the physical scars are extensive, there is a small glimmer of hope: medical officials have confirmed that both Brittany and Christian have since been stabilized.
