The Department of War has identified four U.S. Army Reserve soldiers who tragically lost their lives in Kuwait while supporting Operation Epic Fury, a mission aimed at strengthening regional security and stability. Among the fallen is Cody A. Khork, 35, of Polk County, remembered as a dedicated leader and devoted family man. Also killed was Noah L. Tietjens, 42, of Bellevue, whose decades of service reflected deep commitment and courage. Nicole M. Amor, 39, of White Bear Lake, is being honored for her professionalism and steadfast dedication to her fellow soldiers. The youngest of the four, Declan J. Coady, 20, of West Des Moines, was remembered as a rising talent with a promising future cut tragically short.
