The Jefferson County community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Donovan Reid Hanberry, a 20-year-old Bessemer resident whose life was tragically cut short during a reported robbery at a Birmingham hotel. According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Hanberry died after suffering gunshot wounds during an incident that occurred on June 5 at the InTown Suites on Commons Drive in Birmingham.
