Authorities in Dallas are investigating a deadly shooting that left two men dead late Monday night. According to the Dallas Police Department, officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 12100 block of Audelia Road at approximately 9:47 p.m. on March 16, 2026.
When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered two men suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Emergency personnel from Dallas Fire-Rescue Department were also dispatched to the location, but despite their efforts, both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police later identified one of the victims as 21-year-old Mardreus Ward. The identity of the second victim had not yet been confirmed at the time authorities released initial details about the incident. Investigators say they are working to notify the victim’s family before releasing additional information to the public.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain unclear, and detectives are continuing to gather evidence from the area as part of an ongoing investigation.
