The community of Wabash, Indiana, is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Bryce Dillon, who tragically lost his life in a fatal single-vehicle crash on State Road 13 in Kosciusko County on Tuesday afternoon. Bryce, 32, was identified by authorities as the victim of the devastating accident that occurred in Tippecanoe Township, leaving family, friends, and loved ones struggling to come to terms with an unimaginable loss.
According to investigators, emergency responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after 4:00 p.m. on June 16 following reports of a serious crash along State Road 13, just south of South Barbee Drive. Preliminary findings indicate that Bryce was traveling southbound when his vehicle left the east side of the roadway for reasons that remain unknown. Authorities say he attempted to regain control, but the vehicle overcorrected, crossed both lanes of traffic, left the roadway, and ultimately collided with a tree.
First responders arrived quickly and found Bryce suffering from severe injuries. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash and have not yet determined what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway. Weather conditions, speed, mechanical issues, or medical factors have not been ruled out as authorities work to piece together the events leading up to the collision.
