FLORENCE, Ky. (WXIX) — Authorities have identified the driver killed in a devastating wrong-way, head-on crash over the weekend in Florence as Michelle Littleton, 55, of Cincinnati, whose life ended tragically on April 11 along Mall Road.
According to the Florence Police Department, the fatal crash occurred shortly before 9 p.m. when a vehicle was reported traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of Mall Road. Investigators say the wrong-way vehicle collided head-on with another car in a violent impact that caused severe damage and immediate emergency response.
