HANOVER COUNTY, Va. — Family, friends, and members of the Hanover County community are grieving the tragic loss of Kristen Michelle Moolhuyzen, a 45-year-old Mechanicsville resident whose death has left an immeasurable void in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
Kristen was found deceased inside her home on Mook Court on the evening of June 12 after deputies responded to a suspicious death investigation. Authorities later identified her former boyfriend, Daniel Aaron Geiges, as the suspect in the case. During the ongoing investigation, Geiges was located deceased at a separate residence in Goochland. The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
