The Visalia community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Antonio Monroe, whose life was tragically cut short during a shooting that turned what should have been a joyful graduation celebration into a night of sorrow and devastation. According to the Visalia Police Department, officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 2700 block of West Victor Avenue around 10:40 p.m. on May 30. Upon arrival, they found Antonio suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries despite medical efforts to save him.

Three additional victims were also injured during the shooting and received medical treatment. Authorities have stated that their injuries were not considered life-threatening.
