A quiet neighborhood in Pontiac was shaken by violence late Sunday night after a 25-year-old man, Brian Keith Washington Jr., was fatally shot while inside his own home. According to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of a shooting around 10 p.m. on May 24 in the 300 block of Central Avenue, near Woodward Avenue and South Boulevard.
When authorities arrived at the scene, they discovered Washington in his bedroom suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck. He was unresponsive and not breathing.
