A deeply disturbing case out of Henderson, North Carolina, has led to the arrest of a father following the deaths of two teenagers earlier this year. The Vance County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a 13-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy were found dead inside a residence on Torri Drive on February 9, sending shockwaves through the local community.

According to authorities, four siblings — ages 12, 13, 16, and 17 — were living in the home at the time of the incident. Deputies stated that the children’s father, Aron Newsome, was present inside the house when the two teens were discovered deceased.
