The Rock County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that 41-year-old Tyiece Oninski of Beloit was taken into custody in connection with the incident.

Sheriff’s officials said multiple agencies were called to conduct a welfare check at a residence in the 2000 block of East Gorton Street before 8 a.m. Friday, where first responders discovered the teen’s body. Authorities have not released the identity of the child as the investigation remains active.
