PORTADOWN — A man found dead following a reported altercation at a property in Portadown has been formally identified by police as 49-year-old Rolandas Kvederis, as investigators continue to piece together the circumstances surrounding his death.
According to the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), officers were called to a residence in the Ranfurley Road area at approximately 11 p.m. on Thursday after receiving reports that a man had been injured during a disturbance. Emergency services, including ambulance personnel, responded quickly to the scene. However, despite their efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the property.
Authorities have since confirmed the victim as Rolandas Kvederis, a development that has brought both clarity and renewed sorrow as the investigation unfolds. The incident is now being treated as a murder inquiry, with detectives working to establish exactly what led to the fatal altercation.
