Serroyan Jubar Couto Identified, 19-Year-Old Suspect in Custody After Deadly Warren Shooting.
Authorities have released new information in connection with a fatal shooting in Warren, identifying 19-year-old Serroyan Jubar Couto as the suspect now in custody following the Tuesday evening homicide. The incident occurred just before 8 p.m. at a residence in the 400 block of School Street NW, near Prospect Avenue, leaving one person dead and a community searching for answers.
Police were called to the home after reports of gunfire and arrived to find a victim inside who had died from their injuries. The identity of the victim has not yet been made public as officials work to notify next of kin.
Inside the residence, officers located Serroyan Jubar Couto and detained him without incident. According to booking records, Couto was taken into custody and booked on March 31, 2026. He is currently being held at the Trumbull County Jail. Authorities confirm that he is facing a murder charge in connection with the case, though additional details regarding formal charges or court proceedings have not yet been disclosed.
