INDIANAPOLIS — A deadly shooting on Indianapolis’ east side has left the community mourning after a 23-year-old man, identified as Anthony, was found shot to death inside a vehicle Thursday afternoon. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officials reported that officers were called to the 3600 block of Decamp Drive, near 38th Street and North Post Road, at approximately 4:00 p.m. following a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers discovered Anthony unresponsive inside the vehicle. Despite efforts by first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
