Authorities identified Robbie Duane Mendoza, 38, as the driver of the semi-truck involved in the crash. According to the Texas Highway Patrol, the fatal incident occurred around 8 p.m. on State Highway 302 near Yukon Avenue.
Investigators reported that Mendoza was traveling westbound on SH 302 in a semi-truck when he attempted to make a left turn.
