Early Morning I-85 Crash Turns Fatal: Tyra Carmen Letitia Bradley, 24, Dies After Collision in Anderson County.

ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. — Tyra Carmen Letitia Bradley, a 24-year-old woman from Easley, has died following a tragic early morning crash on Interstate 85, according to authorities. The incident occurred just before 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, near the 9-mile marker, prompting a swift response from emergency crews.

Officials say first responders arrived to find Bradley critically injured at the scene. She was treated on-site before being airlifted to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. Despite efforts to save her, Bradley later succumbed to her injuries, leaving loved ones and the community mourning her sudden loss.

Preliminary findings from investigators indicate that the crash involved a Ford F-150 traveling along I-85 when the driver reportedly fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle veered off the roadway and collided with a parked 18-wheeler. Bradley, who was seated in the front passenger seat at the time, sustained severe injuries in the impact.

The Anderson County Coroner’s Office determined that Bradley died from multiple traumatic injuries, and her death has been ruled accidental. Authorities have not released further details about the driver or whether any charges may be considered.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol, along with the coroner’s office, continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. Officials are expected to review all factors, including driver fatigue and road conditions.

As the investigation continues, the focus remains on remembering Tyra Bradley and supporting those affected by her heartbreaking loss.
