According to authorities, Dartmouth Police and EMS responded shortly after 4:30 p.m. to the area of 899 Old Fall River Road after receiving reports of a serious motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, first responders discovered a green Toyota Corolla that had left the roadway and crashed into a tree in a wooded area. Investigators said the vehicle was facing westbound in the eastbound lane and had sustained severe damage, particularly on the passenger side.
The driver, a 23-year-old woman, was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Officials stated that her injuries were not considered life-threatening.
