Kind-Hearted Sharon Storey Remembered: Family Pays Tribute After Tragic A605 Crash.

 

The family of Sharon Storey, 61, are mourning the heartbreaking loss of a beloved sister, aunty, great-aunty, and friend after she was tragically killed in a crash on the A605 near Ring’s End, close to Guyhirn, on June 13. Sharon, of Walsoken, Wisbech, was driving a silver MG HS when it was involved in a collision with a red Hyundai Kona at approximately 2:50 p.m. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

As news of her passing spread throughout the community, heartfelt tributes poured in for a woman remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to helping others. Sharon’s family described her as a “kind-hearted” person who always put others before herself. She was well known for volunteering at local charity shops, where her warm smile and caring nature touched countless lives.

In a moving tribute, her loved ones said they were “absolutely devastated” by her loss and emphasized how deeply she will be missed by family members, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know her. They also expressed their gratitude to the emergency services and all those who offered support following the tragedy.

The fatal collision remains under investigation. A 41-year-old woman from Whittlesey was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has since been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

As family and friends grieve this immense loss, they choose to remember Sharon for the compassion, love, and selflessness that defined her life. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched and inspired.
