Ethan Powers, 35, of Timnath, Colorado; Jeremy Coleman, 45, of Berthoud, Colorado; and Nathan McCormick, 26, of Loveland, Colorado, were tragically killed Tuesday afternoon in a devastating crash on U.S. Highway 12 near Kooskia, Idaho. Authorities identified the driver involved in the collision as 60-year-old Neale Brewer of Colorado Springs, Colorado, who has since been arrested in connection with the fatal incident. The heartbreaking loss of the three motorcyclists has left families, friends, and communities across Colorado mourning lives taken far too soon.

According to the Idaho State Police, the crash occurred at approximately 4 p.m. when a westbound 2019 Ford F-150 allegedly attempted to pass another vehicle in a clearly marked no-passing zone. Investigators reported that the pickup crossed the double yellow centerline and collided head-on with the three eastbound motorcyclists. The impact was catastrophic, and all three riders were pronounced dead at the scene.

Brewer was transported to a hospital for medical evaluation following the collision. After receiving treatment, he was arrested and booked into the Idaho County Jail on probable cause for three counts of vehicular manslaughter. Authorities stated that U.S. Highway 12 remained closed for nearly seven hours while emergency crews responded and crash reconstruction specialists investigated the scene.

As the investigation continues, loved ones are remembering Ethan Powers, Jeremy Coleman, and Nathan McCormick for the lives they lived, the friendships they cherished, and the memories they created. In loving memory of the three men, may their legacies endure in the hearts of those who knew and loved them, and may their families find comfort and strength in the difficult days ahead. 🕊️🕊️🕊️
