Tragedy on Moanalua Freeway: Max Mettao Dies After Multi-Vehicle Crash Leaves Several Injured.

 

MOANALUA, Oahu — A tragic multi-vehicle crash on the Moanalua Freeway claimed the life of Max Mettao and left several others seriously injured on Friday, June 5, according to Honolulu emergency officials. The devastating collision occurred in the eastbound lanes before the King Street off-ramp and involved four vehicles carrying a total of seven people.

Emergency responders from the Honolulu Fire Department and Honolulu Emergency Medical Services rushed to the scene after reports of a major crash. Authorities said the impact was severe, leaving multiple victims with significant injuries. Two individuals were transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition, while three others suffered serious injuries and also required immediate medical treatment.
